Fees and Membership
Our club is lucky to be able to cater for a wide variety of pilots. From old-timers (planes, that is) to electro-models, gliders to helis, scale to 'not like anything you've ever seen'.
At present our membership stands at approx 100. You can contact our Club Secretary Vic Ford at vic62@hotmail.com. Make sure, when sending an email, to include your full postal address, so Vic can send you the required forms. The annual membership includes (1) BMFA membership and insurance and (2) Club Fees. BMFA membership is compulsory, but does include insurance up to £5000.000,-. An individual certificate of insurance will be issued.
A junior is anyone under the age of 18 on the 1st of Jan 2010. For those over 18, but still in full time education, a special Student Fee of £59.00 can be paid on production of a Students Union card. As you will be aware if you've got this far, Keevil is an operational airfield and accesss is therefore restricted to the good guys. This unfortunately means a great big gate with a great big padlock to be negotiated. The MOD trusts us to administer our own access procedures, but it also means that new members are required to purchase a key to the padlock for £5.00. (This is of course refundable on return of the key should membership not be renewed.) Or if you reckon the weather's about to improve and you fancy speeding things up a bit, have a go at downloading the form here and sending it off to our Club Treasurer directly (Mike's postal address is on the form). (You'll need some something like Adobe Reader to do it, but I think most PCs have something to deal with pdfs these days.) MEMBERSHIP_APPLICATION_FORM_2010.pdf (208.88 Kb) Any questions?
